Passarella
Passarella is a family of storage units conceived as a kind of domestic micro-architecture, where material and structure come together in a single, unified architectural gesture. Developed in three versions - living, dining, and vertical cabinet - the elements of the project are characterised by one distinctive shared element: a wooden panel that extends to the floor and becomes a structural foot. This bold, recognisable detail raises the volumes, giving them a sense of movement, and allows them to be placed side by side, creating a sense of continuity.
The vertical cabinets extend the piece upward, in a measured balance of solids and voids, integrating a plurality of functions. The upper section is configured as an articulated system, featuring a drawer alongside a basin, characterized by a refined marble finish. The integrated lighting positioned at the top, discreet and functional, enhances the materials and contributes to the overall usability of the piece. In the lower section, the cabinet is equipped with two drawers and accommodates a cutlery tray placed inside the upper compartment.
The result is a sophisticated, modular system where solidity, construction precision, and visual lightness coexist in a harmonious balance.
