Loungescape Light Upholstered storage bed

With LOUNGESCAPE LIGHT, a double bed with an upholstered headboard designed by Antonio Citterio, you bring a sculptural, contemporary presence into your bedroom. This 2026 model seamlessly reinterprets the spirit of the classic upholstered bed.

Modularity and configurations

The design is particularly recognisable in its angled base: the structure narrows towards the floor, giving you a sense of lightness and softening the visual weight of the bed. The modular headboard echoes the sculpted lines of the sofa of the same name, allowing you to easily create a cohesive whole within your interior.

Materials and finishes

This Light version is specially designed for the hospitality sector and features a wall-mounted headboard consisting of two large, horizontally placed upholstered panels, with a base sloped on three sides. The slim proportions and rich upholstery complete the design, allowing the bed to interact with your bedroom in a balanced and discreet way.

The bed frame is of wood with a polyurethane foam filling, wrapped in a protective laminated fabric, with a metal frame and wooden slats; if desired, you can choose a version with storage space. The wall-mounted headboard is of wood with variable-density polyurethane foam, including wall-mounting brackets, so you easily save space beside the bed. The upholstery is removable, in both fabric and leather, giving you the freedom to adjust the look over time to suit your wishes.

Combine this bed with the Loungescape sofa of the same name in your living room and you create a cohesive whole between your sleeping and living spaces. This way you carry the same sculptural language throughout your home or hospitality project.
