Clarence Wooden highboard with doors

With CLARENCE, a wooden highboard with hinged doors designed by Antonio Citterio, you choose a representative storage piece that radiates calm and refinement. This 2026 model belongs to the wider Clarence storage system from Flexform.

Design and craftsmanship

Clarence consists of a range of elements you can combine as needed: nightstands, a desk, drawer units, sideboards, a TV unit and a bar cabinet. In this highboard you will immediately recognise the collection's characteristic softened contours. The rounded corners lighten the volume, while the leather-clad wooden structure adds a refined tactile layer you will notice with every touch.

Materials and finishes

The hinged doors are veneered in various wood types and form an understated textural contrast with the leather. Thanks to the careful finishing at the back, you can place the highboard freely in the room – even away from the wall, allowing it to also serve as a room divider at home or in the office. This way you decide for yourself how to arrange the space, without compromising on aesthetics.

The result is a piece with a homely, warm presence in which craftsmanship and understated elegance come together. The rigour of a functional storage piece here goes hand in hand with couture-like details and the careful material choices characteristic of Flexform. You can choose a structure in walnut (Canaletto), ash, oak or wenge veneer, with leather upholstery in a wide colour palette, resting on matte black lacquered wooden legs – so the highboard perfectly matches your personal taste.

Combine this highboard with other Clarence pieces, such as a sideboard or nightstand, and you effortlessly build a cohesive storage system that you can carry throughout your entire home, from living room to bedroom.
