Ilse Vorstenbosch

Ilse Vorstenbosch is a visual artist who creates both paintings and sculptures. She works freely and intuitively, allowing material and form to guide her creative process. An important part of her artistic practice is the development of her own new materials, which she applies in both two- and three-dimensional work. At Studio Co van der Horst, we present a selection of her sculptures.

Ilse Vorstenbosch’s sculptures have a refined and almost fragile appearance, while at the same time remaining powerful in both form and material. This contrast creates a distinctive tension within her work and gives each sculpture a strong, independent presence in space.

Figurative sculptures and animals
